The Light in Soil

Peace and blessings, lady lovessss,

Why do I say lady loves?I started saying it to my daughters after I caught myself saying “you guys.” I was like, nooo, that sounds whack let me switch some things up. Lol!

How are you feeling? It’s Wednesday now and I promise, the weeks truly fly by.

I just pray The Most High puts barakah in my time.

Speaking of time, sis...It’s been five years since I began this venture of BeKindle. My learning and falling game has been so elevated, it almost feels like I’m running in place, but with elevated taste. Lol!

My entire understanding of building a brand (sounds so cliché) has been amplified. It’s truly the small things that matter to me the most now. My expectations have shifted, because sis, I had no idea what I was doing (still maneuvering).

It’s all making more sense, but this is five whole years later.

Okay, okay, I hear you:“We” need to give ourselves grace.

Things aren’t just black and white. There are so many factors that contribute.

I’m a mommy.I work full-time as a nurse. I’m a member of Al-Islam, which involves being charitable. I have to work out because I would indeed be a looney toon if I let life’s stress build up. And that’s not even counting all the unpredictable circumstances we deal with day to day.

But my love, we are totally fine (wipes forehead). Really though, I have to break most days, stand in front of the mirror intentionally, and say out loud (or in my head):

"As-salamu alaykum and peace to you, beautiful soul, Sis, you’re blessed — and don’t you dare forget it. You’re walking proof that prayers turn into reality, that patience multiplies blessings, and that when you glow from within, everything you touch gets softer, stronger, and sweeter."

On my journey, there are so many things Allah has enlightened me about, things I need to work on,

but one thing I had to shake off was…dun dun dunnnnn... PERFECTIONISM.

“Who said that? ”Not me. Lol.

No, but really sis, I had to be very intentional about the ability to just be. To stand boldly in all the chaos that surrounded (and still surrounds) me… and sprout gracefully.

I used to think I needed to wait for things to be perfect. But instead, I’m choosing to celebrate something I once thought I had to wait for:

My dreams are unfolding right here, right now, step by step.

Like I’m pretty much walking in the dream. My reality, my process , is a blessing in itself. Yes there are some perks that are missing lol, but that's just extra seasoning. I'm grateful that i have gained the courage to push pass the perfectionism , fear, insecurities, shame, doubt, and move out for Allahs pleasure.

I was truly tripping. I believed I had to have everything in place: the perfect website, the biggest audience, before I could start sharing the vision Allah placed in my heart. I clearly was making stuff up to delay and procrastinate. Instead, I just made a whole lot of promises... filled up composition books with plans.

I know Dollar Tree was sick of me! 😂

But I’ve learned that true growth doesn’t wait for perfect conditions. It blooms in quiet beginnings, in humble efforts, and in small, steady steps of faith.

So today, sis, I stand here before you (through the computer, lol) to say: I’m officially reopening my blog and my creative space here on BeKindle.

This will be a home where I share my journey of:

• Growing into the best version of myself

• Building a luxury modest fashion brand (Hasana Luxe)

• Teaching, inspiring, and nurturing wellness in mind, body, and spirit

• Being creative, because that’s how we thrive

I’m using what I have now, my words, my passion, and Lord knows, all my beautiful mistakes,

to put a sister on.

Because what I lack might get my sis one step closer (Jay-Z voice 😎).I know that as I move, Allah will bless the path with more resources, more opportunities, and more growth.

This blog will be a space of:

• Real reflections on personal development

• Wellness and beauty tips to nourish the body and soul

• Creative offerings like e-books, courses, and PDFs to inspire your own journey

Every post, every launch, every product will be a seed planted with love, light, and purpose.

😂 Okay, but seriously:

You don’t have to wait for perfect because she doesn’t even existttt! We can figure it out on the way lol. Bring your makeup bag in the car sis and I'm driving and we swap type of energy.

You are allowed to start right now. So let’s get it pop-rocking, let’s get this party started!

Even the tiniest step you take today can lead to a future you once only dreamed of, by the will of Allah.
